Age For Going To New Home

Under Florida law a puppy must be 8 weeks old and have a health certificate from a certified veterinarian before being allowed to go home with its new owner.

Therefore a puppy does not leave my home until it is eight weeks of age.

Each pup is seen by my vet

and given a clean bill of health

before leaving my care.

If shipping is needed it would

be at 8 to 10 weeks of age

depending on the puppy.

The Buyer MUST have puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian at the buyer's expense within 7 days of pick-up or delivery if shipped for this contract to be valid. All puppies will be de-wormed, vet checked and have vaccinations prior to going to their new homes. They will come with a contract and a Florida State health certificate with all current vaccines listed.
If a serious congenital life threatening health problem is noted during the above examination, Breeder must receive a written statement from Buyer's veterinarian within 3 days from date of examination. Upon verification by Breeder's veterinarian of stated health problem, puppy must be returned to Breeder unless otherwise agreed by Breeder. When available, the Buyer will be provided with another puppy of the same sex, quality and value or a refund in the amount paid for the puppy will be given. No replacements or refund will be given due to problems that result from Buyer neglect. However, if neglect is noted, Buyer agrees to return dog to Breeder - Money non-refundable.
Although we try to predict mature size of our pups, we do not guarantee it.
We do not guarantee against hypoglycemia. It is your responsibility to make sure your new baby is fed properly and given the proper rest a newborn requires. Buyer is to continue the puppy on the same diet as it is used to for at least one bag of - Purina Pro Plan Chicken & Rice kibble for Puppies. If buyer chooses buyer can gradually change the puppy to another high quality dog food.
If for whatever reason you cannot keep your puppy (e.g. allergies; moving; etc.) please return the puppy or contact us and we will help you find a loving home for it. We ask that you do not take the puppy to a pound - Money non-refundable.
According to the Florida Statute, Breeder is not responsible for any disease contributed to non-performance of new Owner to give shots, provide proper diet and ensure health. Please note that parasites can be picked up anywhere after leaving the breeder.
Puppies cannot be guaranteed against back problems as it is not always hereditary and can happen due to injury, accidents, obesity, falling, jumping, environment, etc.....
Dilute colors such as blues, Isabellas and sometimes solid black puppies may have a higher tendency to get alopecia and this is not guaranteed against. To help maintain good health and the best coat quality possible I request that all dilutes remain on NuVet supplements or something similar. These products are very good for coat and skin health. Puppies are sold as pets. AKC papers may be provided after spay or neuter unless otherwise stated. Contact breeder to inquire about full breeding rights at an additional cost of $800

Deposits On Puppies

I require a $200 deposit to hold a puppy ( this goes toward the puppy price ) and the balance to be paid in cash by 8 weeks of age or at pick up. The deposit is non refundable but may be transferred to another puppy.

I accept cash, Zelle, money orders and personal checks on deposits.

REMAINING BALANCE

The remaining balance is to be paid in CASH by the time the puppy is picked up. Pick up will be AFTER the puppy has been examined by my vet at 8 weeks of age. The remaining balance is to be paid in CASH only. I do not accept personal checks on remaining balance.

Puppy must be picked up by 8 weeks of age or within a few days of this once it is ready to leave and also be fully paid for before leaving. However, I hold the right to keep a puppy longer if I feel it is not ready or mature enough to leave my home at 8 weeks of age.

Also - under some circumstances other arrangements can be made for puppy to remain here a little longer. Fee is $15 per day for puppy care.

If puppy is not fully paid for (including puppy care fee of $15 per day per arrangements made) and picked up after two weeks of HC issue it will be sold to another buyer. Deposit non refundable.
